brushed
Knitted fabrics fleece and sanding is a post-finishing method. The fleece fabrics include pure cotton terry, pure cotton terry cloth, T/C terry and terry cloth, CVC terry and so on.
The customary distinction method is: the terry of the terry cloth is small, and the terry cloth is large. This type of loop structure fabric is raised by using steel needle rollers to mechanically cut the loop structure to generate fluff. The weaving structure of the sanding fabric is more, they use the mechanical friction of the carbon fiber of the sanding machine and the sandpaper to produce uniform short piles on the surface of the fabric.
Influencing factors and precautions
The most influential fabrics are mainly T/C fabrics with low gram weight, loose weaving structure, and large horizontal and vertical elasticity. Auxiliary factories will only sell a single fluffing agent, and do not know the root cause of bad fluffing.
Raising agent: It is a well-known practice in the industry that the low-yellowing film is compounded with a dimethyl silicone oil emulsion (also known as raising oil) below 10%. This raising agent formula can only provide a smooth and soft hand. Button-up fleece fabrics do nothing.
For pure cotton terry and terry cloth with tight weaving structure, and soft sheets with good fluffiness, with a little high ammonia value silicone oil and dimethyl silicone oil emulsion (fluffing oil), the hairiness is rich in one pass.
T/C type fabrics must not use amino silicone oil. The resilience and viscosity of amino silicone oil will have an adverse effect on raising, which will increase the softness, smoothness and elasticity of the fabric, and increase the probability of hooking and tearing of the raised fabric. Sometimes it feels like the fabric is already soft, but it doesn't get lint or hooks.
The correct softening method for T/C fabrics is: the film is mixed with dimethicone emulsion, and then combined with a little multi-functional finishing agent (also called moisture wicking finishing agent).
The fleece fabric with low gram weight must not be soft and slippery, it will greatly reduce the strength of the fabric, the fabric will be torn when the fleece is raised, and the fabric will become loose and elastic, and it is easy to hang the buckle; as long as it is fluffy and smooth; Heavy fabrics can be soft and slippery, reducing the number of fuzzing.
Weaving mills do not use pile yarn to weave fabrics for various reasons, resulting in the phenomenon of fuzzing or hanging, but the fuzzing and hanging caused by the loose weaving structure or the increase of the loose elasticity of the fabric caused by the inappropriate softening scheme. The buckle phenomenon is different and should not be confused.
Thin, short and dense fleece raising process
Raising is the process of exposing the fibers on the surface of the fabric to increase the thickness of the fabric, improving its hand feel and enhancing its thermal insulation performance through softeners.
The raising process directly determines the style and quality of the fabric. By raising the fabric, the appearance and feel of the fabric can be significantly improved, and the warmth and practicality of the fabric can be improved.
This project improves the tension control and shearing device by selecting the appropriate fabric structure, and conducts in-depth research on factors such as the pulling strength, the pulling sequence and the pulling times, and develops a short and dense thin fleece fabric with good application performance.
