I have been working for so many years. Let me talk about my experience.
As far as clothing itself is concerned, its quality depends on two conditions: fabric and workmanship.
(1) In terms of fabrics, wool, silk and pure cotton are certainly better than chemical fiber, acrylic fiber and polyester.
Now there are some high-tech new fabrics on the market, such as far-infrared, nano-silver, bamboo charcoal fiber, etc
(2) From the perspective of workmanship, we can see how the lining (or liner) fabric is, whether the car line is uniform,
whether the code edge is clean (many high-quality clothes are wrapped), whether the chain head of the zipper is fine,
whether the surface of the button is smooth and clean,
and whether the drill is symmetrical and shiny if the clothes are attached with drill. In short,
the more details, the more prominent the workmanship of the clothes.
(3) Another important factor affecting the value of clothes is brand.
Good brands pay more attention to the quality of clothes.
(4) When it comes to choosing clothes, the main purpose is that the most suitable clothes are the best clothes.
Therefore, don't be too superstitious about "famous brands".
Clothes should show their own temperament, taste and personality. It is the best to show their own advantages···
1. Cotton
Pure cotton has good breathability, strong hygroscopicity and comfortable to wear, but it has a prominent disadvantage - it is easy to wrinkle and deform after washing and wearing. But 60% cotton+40% polyester will not wrinkle and deform easily.
Polyester cotton is usually blended with 35% cotton and 65% polyester. Polyester cotton cloth is commonly known as "Dacron".
It not only maintains the characteristics of high strength and good elasticity recovery of polyester fiber,
but also has the characteristics of strong moisture absorption of cotton fiber. It is easy to dye, easy to iron and dry after washing.
2. Chiffon
The scientific name of "chiffon" is "georgette" - georgette,
also known as georgette crepe, is a kind of silk fabric woven with strong twist crepe warp and crepe weft.
georgette is light and transparent in texture, soft and elastic in feel, light and elegant in appearance,
with good breathability and drapability, and elegant and comfortable in wear.
3. Polyester
The biggest characteristic of polyester is that its elasticity is stronger than any fiber; Good strength and wear resistance.
The fabric woven from it not only has a fastness of 3-4 times higher than that of other fibers, but also is crisp and not easy to deform.
It has the reputation of "iron-free"; The disadvantage is that the hygroscopicity is very poor, and the fabric woven by it is stuffy and airtight. In addition, due to the smooth surface of the fiber and the poor cohesion between the fibers, it is easy to fuzz and agglomerate at the place of frequent friction.
4. Cotton fiber
Nylon is characterized by high strength and good wear resistance. Its strength and wear resistance rank first among all fibers.
The disadvantage of nylon is the same as that of polyester, with poor hygroscopicity and permeability.
In dry environment, nylon is easy to generate static electricity, and short fiber fabric is also easy to pilling and pilling.
In addition, the shape retention of nylon is poor, and the clothes made of nylon are not as crisp as polyester, and are easy to deform.
But it can be attached to the body, and is a good material for making all kinds of body shirts.
5. Acrylic fiber
The appearance of acrylic fiber is white, curly, fluffy and soft, which is similar to wool.
It is often used to blend with wool or as a substitute for wool, so it is also called "synthetic wool".
The wettability of acrylic fiber is not good enough, but its wettability is better than that of wool and silk fiber.
Its abrasion resistance is poor among synthetic fibers, and the ironing temperature of acrylic fiber is below 130 ℃.
6. Vinylon
Vinylon is white as snow and soft as cotton, so it is often used as a substitute for natural cotton, known as "synthetic cotton".
The hygroscopic property of vinylon is the best among synthetic fibers.
In addition, vinylon has good wear resistance, light resistance and corrosion resistance.
7. Chloron
Chlorine fiber has many advantages and strong chemical corrosion resistance;
The thermal conductivity is worse than that of wool, so the thermal insulation is strong; In addition, it also has a prominent advantage,
that is, the underwear made of it can treat rheumatoid arthritis or other injuries without irritation or damage to the skin.
Chloroprene also has prominent disadvantages, that is, poor heat resistance.
8. Flax
Flax is characterized by strong tensile force, softness, good fineness, weak conductivity,
fast water absorption and dispersion, and large expansion rate.
9. Silk
Real silk has the property of absorbing light. It looks smooth and can't afford the mirror.
Its luster is elegant and soft. It is pearly bright. It feels soft and elegant. The silk thread is dense,
and wrinkles will appear when you grasp it with your hands. The higher the purity and density,
the better the silk feel; Although the imitation silk fabric has been treated with softening, it feels soft,
but the silk surface is dark and has no pearl luster;
The chemical fiber fabric is bright, dazzling and hard to handle. In addition, silk products should have a slight scratch feeling.
When rubbing the two layers of fabric, it will produce a "silk ring" sound, while other raw materials do not.
The shrinkage rate of real silk is high, so it is better to buy finished products with specifications one grade higher than the actual demand.
If you choose middle and high grade silk goods, you'd better take them to dry cleaning.
Silk has soft luster, soft feel and soft texture. It can make a special sound when rubbed with each other.
It is commonly known as' silk ring 'or' silk ring '. After being held tightly by hand, it can be released.
The wrinkles are few and not obvious. The silk of real silk products has the same dry and wet elasticity.
10. Mercerized cotton
Advantages of mercerized cotton fabric: the fabric has bright color and will not change color after washing for a long time;
The fabric has the luster of silk fabric; The fabric size is relatively stable, and the drape feeling is good;
The fabric is crisp, good anti-wrinkle performance, and not easy to pilling and wrinkling.
You can look at the fabric of your favorite clothes. They should be maintained separately·····
