Features of swimwear fabrics

1. DuPont Lycra:

It is a man-made elastic fiber with the best elasticity. It can be extended to 4~6 times of the original length. It has excellent stretchability and is suitable for blending with various fibers. It can enhance the advantages of texture drape and wrinkle resistance. DuPont Lycra, which contains anti-chlorine ingredients, will make the swimwear have a longer life than ordinary swimsuits.

2. Nylon fabric:

Although the texture is not as solid as the Lycra fabric, the elasticity and softness are comparable to that of Lycra. Currently the most commonly used fabric for swimwear, suitable for mid-priced products.

3. Polyester fabric:

 Swimwear washing and maintenance

1. Swimsuit washing knowledge:

Washing of most swimwear: hand wash in cold water (not more than 30 degrees warm water) and air dry. Never use detergents such as soap, washing powder, etc. Because most detergents contain bleach and fluorescent agents, if they are used, they will destroy the color of the swimsuit and also damage the elasticity of the swimsuit.

2. Maintenance of swimwear:

Like fashion, swimwear needs careful maintenance to prolong its wearing life. First of all, the correct maintenance knowledge is indispensable:

A. The salinity of sea water, chlorine in the swimming pool, chemicals and oil will destroy the elasticity of the swimsuit. When using sunscreen, wear a swimsuit and then apply sunscreen. Wet the swimsuit with clean water before entering the water to reduce its damage. After swimming, you should rinse your body before taking off the swimsuit.

B. Remember not to put wet swimsuits in the bag for a long time, so as to avoid thermal fading or odor. It should be quickly washed by hand with clean water, and then dried with a towel and dried in a shaded place that is not exposed to direct light.

F. Note: Wear a swimsuit to go to a hot spring or sauna. The sulfur components and high temperature in the hot spring can easily damage the elastic tissue of the swimsuit and shorten the life of the swimsuit.
