There are many products for sanding, but fabrics without sea-island silk can't make suede fluff by grinding. The effect, it can be said that there is no sea island silk, no suede!
In fact, the sea-island silk we have been talking about is not a single sea-island silk, but a sea-island composite ultra-fine blended fiber network yarn formed by combining ordinary sea-island silk and high-shrinkage silk, which is called "sea-island silk" for short. . It is a combination of the four concepts of sea-island silk, composite fiber, mixed fiber and network silk. For the side of suede that needs to be raised, sea-island silk is used as the raw material in the weaving process of the grey fabric. When the sea-island silk floats on the surface of the fabric with a larger floating length, the high-shrinkage silk is in a fixed state after the fiber opening process in the dyeing factory. The sea component of the island-in-the-sea yarn is dissolved, and the island-in-the-sea yarn is loosely entangled around the high-shrinkage yarn. Shimahara fiber is composed of ultrafine fibers, the fiber diameter is very thin, and the absolute strength is low. Therefore, under the same conditions, the island fibrils formed by the sea-island yarns are more likely to be worn off than other fibers, resulting in many fine and even tufts on the surface of the fabric.
Suede raising method-sanding and napping process:
The sanding process is generally carried out in the dyeing factory. It belongs to the pre-treatment stage of the suede fabric production process. It is to open the fiber after the dyeing factory and make a reservation (first setting: mainly drying to make the cloth surface level. Adding a certain raising agent in the reservation is also very important here. A smooth cloth surface can reduce the production of sanding strips. Sanding is to pass the suede side that can be raised through the sanding machine and wrap it with emery sand skin. With the high-speed rotation of the rotating rod, the sandpaper rubs on the fabric and becomes velvety!

This determines that the sanding can only be used to grind thicker, inelastic, and flat suede, like four-sided elastic suede. As soon as the pile is tensioned, the width of the door will shrink very much, and it is easy to produce sanding strips, which requires another method of raising-napping! Raising is achieved by the rapid rotation of the rotating roller covered with steel needles on the drawing machine, which is equivalent to the needle piercing the fabric and then picking it up to achieve the effect of raising!
Generally warp-knitted suede, elastic suede, softer, thinner suede are all raised with a napping machine. Sometimes a cylinder of cloth needs to be napped several times in order to obtain a finer velvet feeling, 8 times or 10 times. The napping can increase the density of suede. For example, if weft suede is only sanded, it will have a serious bottom leakage problem (the fluff is less, you can see the crosspiece of the cloth bottom), which can be improved by pulling the hair first and then sanding it.
