What is shu velveteen fabric?
Shu velveteen fabric also be called sherpa fabric. It is similar to Polar fleece fabric, but the hair is silky,
better warmth retention. It is mostly used for lining plush toys, blankets and clothes. Now it is also
popular for lining the surface of gifts and leisure shoes.
It is made of polyester filament by large circular machine (small and medium-sized), knitting and
brushing, and finally dyeing and processing for cost. Compared with fleece, Shu velveteen fabric
has the same plush, heat preservation and environmental protection, but its cost is lower than that
of velvet, and the ratio of inferior products in the production process is easier to control. The market
is becoming a reasonable substitute for velvet.
