1. How to make a test piece. The test piece is very important in the knitting of woolen sweaters, so let's talk about the knitting method of the test piece here. The test piece to be shot should not be too small, the smaller it is, the more inaccurate. The test piece has more needles and a few more lines.

      For example: starting with 160 stitches, knitting 160 rows, 80 stitches on the left side of the machine ruler, and 80 stitches on the right side. Knit some rows first. If 30 rows are knitted first, then the 50th stitch on the left side and the 50th stitch on the right side of the machine Pick up the stitches of the next stitch on each needle and hang them on the 51st stitch on the left and the 51st stitch on the right respectively. Then keep these 2 stitches at the working position and continue knitting 100 rows, and then follow the method just mentioned, the same on the left Pick up and down the stitches on the 50th stitch and the 50th stitch on the right, hang them on the 51st stitch on the left and the 51st stitch on the right respectively. 2. Measurement and calculation of density

      1. Horizontal density measurement and calculation: First, spread the test piece that has met the requirements on the table plane. The degree of spreading depends on the size of the customer and the three-dimensional sense of the vertical bar. The four corners of the test piece Fix it with a pushpin, and then use a ruler to measure the distance between the left and right 2 spaces (of course, the 2 holes in the same line).

      Horizontal density=100/the size of 2 spaces on the left and right. The number of rows of needles = the actual size of the customer's bust /2, and then multiply the horizontal density.

      In the above example, if the distance between the two holes is 12.5 cm, then the horizontal density = 100/12.5 = 8 stitches/cm. If the customer's sweater requires a bust of 90 cm, then the half bust is 45 cm. The number of needles should be 45*8=360 needles

      2. Measurement and calculation of longitudinal density

     Directly measure and calculate according to the punched sample (not to be the amount of expansion). The method is: first place the test piece that has met the requirements on the table surface, measure the size of the upper and lower 2 holes (the same needle), and then obtain Vertical density. If the distance between the upper and lower 2 holes measured is 10 cm, the vertical density = 100/the size of the upper and lower 2 holes = 100/10 = 10 rows/cm, so the total number of rows to be woven = the length of the clothes required by the length x the vertical density. If the required body length is 50 cm, then the total number of knitting rows = 50 cm X vertical density = 50X10 = 500 rows
